- Installation
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- 1) Extract ZIP file to temporary folder (ex. C:\TEMP)

- 2) Run Disk1\Install.exe.

- 3) After the installation, the distribution files are no longer needed.
- you can delete them or may keep them in the disk.

- Uninstallation

- 1) Run [Start]-[Programs]-[Kashmir 3D]-[Uninstall].

- Quick Start
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Usage USGS 1-degree-DEM:
-
- 1) Dwonload 1-degree-DEM from USGS's web site.
- ( http://edcwww.cr.usgs.gov/glis/hyper/guide/1_dgr_demfig/index1m.html )

- 2) Extract compressed files using gzip tool into your hard disk.
-
- 3) Add .DEM extention. (ex. cascade-w.dem )
-
- 4) Run Kashmir and Select [File]-[Open]-[Map]-[USGS 1-degree-DEM].

- 5) Select target file.
-
- Usage USGS Gtopo30:
-
- 1) Dwonload Global 30-arc-second DEM from USGS's web site.
- ( http://edcwww.cr.usgs.gov/landdaac/gtopo30/gtopo30.html )

- 2) Extract compressed files using gzip tool into your hard disk.

- 3) Run Kashmir and Select [File]-[Open]-[Map]-[USGS Gtopo30].

- 4) Select target file.

- Usage Grayscale:

- 1) Create grayscale bitmap and save as BMP file.

- 2) Run Kashmir and Select [File]-[Open]-[Map]-[Grayscale].

- 3) Select traget file.
-
- 4) Setup information dailog. You can ingnore latitude and longitude.
- But the scale of map is decided by width of latitude and longitude.
